We strive to make a difference on the environment in each of our communities with our Living Green program, however, not all offerings are available at every community. Please check with your Property Manager for the specific Living Green features available at your community. Living Green features include:

  • Low or no VOC paint
  • Trash compactors
  • Environmentally friendly pest control
  • Eco-friendly fertilizers
  • Native (or other environmentally friendly plants i.e.
  • drought resistant) plants in landscaping
  • Share the Air/Smoke-free community

  • Bicycle storage
  • Bike rentals
  • Electric car charging stations
  • Walking distance to public transportation


  • Motion detectors for power in models & common areas for lower energy consumption
  • Use of compact fluorescent light bulbs (CFLs or LED) in all models and common areas
  • Digital thermostats in office and common areas
  • Energy Star™ appliances
  • Dual-pane windows
  • Ceiling fans
  • Solar heating for pools


  • Recycling
  • Use of recycled paper products in offices and common areas (i.e. paper towels, toilet paper and copy paper)
  • Recycling receptacles in all common areas (i.e. mail room, pool area, fitness & business centers)
  • Battery/cell phone disposal location (contact your local recycling center to obtain containers)


  • Faucet aerators (to decrease water consumption in common areas and models)
  • Annual irrigation audit completion
  • Low-flow toilets & shower heads
  • Reclaimed water for irrigation
  • Use of water-wise landscaping
  • Water bottle refill stations
  • Refillable water bottles – property does not order plastic bottles


  • Option to pay rent online
